Three Came Home (1950) DVD

Second hand product in excellent condition

Claudette Colbert stars in the inspirational and compelling true story of American author, wife and mother Agnes Newton Keith, whose life is shattered by the Japanese occupation of Borneo in 1941. Separated from her husband and imprisoned in a P.O.W camp with her young son, she begins a painful journey of survival as the harsh realities of camp life and the horrors of war become daily routine. The Japanese had little regard for the Geneva convention and treated all prisoners worse than animals. They would rather die than suffer the ultimate shame of surrendering or being caught and treated the captives with the contempt they deserved for being there.
